Starting in 2022, CHCURC began its efforts to increase the amount of public art in the community. The initial goal was to combat the tagging that had been an issue for decades by painting murals. As the program has evolved CHCURC has begun doing decorative utility box wraps and sculptural swings.
There is currently an open RFQ out for mural designs for our project at 347 Calhoun Street. More details can found here. Proposals due June 21, 2024.
